Old Testament Edition: Lamentations 1:5
The Lord brought affliction
the people of Israel and Judah, because of their stiff neck ways. He did it so
they’d repent. Are your troubles possibly, revealing God’s call to you to
repent?
New Testament Edition:
1 Peter 1:1-5 ( 3nd of 3 weeks)
Think through about what it means that God is guarding your
salvation. List two comforts this truth provides.
WEEK 2
Old Testament Edition: Ezekiel 39:28
In the Big Plan of God, the
Lord will gather all of his people together and not one will be left behind in
the nations. Isn’t that a great echo to God’s promise for the Church today!
New Testament Edition:
2 Peter 3:17-18 (1st of 2
weeks)
Think about ways people are carried away by teaching errors.
List why it produces and unstable walk in Christ.
WEEK 3
Old Testament Edition: Daniel 2:20
Consider God’s wisdom and
might. Do you rely daily on them? Or are
you too busy finding your own wisdom and might? Lean heavy on Jesus and worship
with this phrase this week.
New Testament Edition:
2 Peter 3:17-18 (2nd of 2
weeks)
Christians often grow in their knowledge of Christ, but how
can they grow in the grace of Christ as encouraged through this verse.
WEEK 4
Old Testament Edition: Hosea 3:1
Remember, God loved us even
when we loved other idols. Even today, our hearts may stray to love something
else at times, but God’s love is still reaching out, providing grace, guarding
His beloved.
New Testament Edition:
1 John 1:6, 7
Note in this verse we are memorizing this week that the result
of walking in the light is fellowship with one another. How is your fellowship
in the church? Does it ned to change?
