There is no reward for
those who live for only this world! Think about what your hands are working
hard to do and why they do them.
New Testament Edition:
Hebrews 4:14
We are saved by Christ’s work, hold to our confessions and
quit trying to save or redeem your life through what you do. You cannot add to
Jesus completed work. In what ways have you doing that?
WEEK 2
Old Testament Edition: Song of Solomon 8:7

triumph over temptations from the smiles of the world, as well as from its

“True believing is not an act of the understanding only, but

WEEK 3
Old Testament Edition: Isaiah 7:14
God
with us… in the good, in the bad, in the blessings, in the suffering. Jesus
understands because he also walked with us.
New Testament
Edition: 1 Peter 1:1-5 ( 1st of 3 weeks)
Think through what it means that there are those who are
elect according to God’s foreknowledge. What does that mean?
WEEK 4
Old Testament Edition: Jeremiah 23:5
Think about this: Jesus
will deal wisely in his reign. We sometimes lose that thought among what else
is said in this verse.
New Testament
Edition: 1 Peter 1:1-5 ( 2nd
of 3 weeks)
Think through about what it means the God caused us to be
born again. What does this verse say is the motivating factor?
